RPG = Role Playing Game
Role Playing Game is like an interactive story, which you are a part of.
So basically, you take up a "Role" and you follow/"play" it through. A "Role" is usually in the form of a certain character, be it original or fanbased...in this example, it'll be primarily fanbase, with you being able to take the roles of Haruhi, Tamaki, Kyouya, etc, etc...
How to Role-Play
So how does one role play? To role play, it is to tell your part of the story, and someone else tells theirs, and so on. Other than the basic plot that was outlined before the game was started, the outcomes of a story is usually unpredictable, as it is dependent on the people who play.
Now, people take turns when they play. Example: User1 is playing Kaoru. User2 is playing Kyouya. User1 has already typed up/played their part. They CANNOT play again until User2 [or User3 or 4, etc] has played their part. Once User2 has played his/her part, then s/he cannot play, not until another user has played. User1 can play again once User2 [or others] has played. There are more complex systems, but I won't delve into that. The story can go on for as long as you like.
Follow good RPing practice; write at least five sentences, don't god mod, etc.
Never leave a fellow RPer behind; Say you have a double roleplay with more than two people, you can the person you're in the scene with can reply twice, then you must wait for the other two to come online and post, or, in another example, if you have a certain order, (EX: user1, user2, user3, user4.) then, if per say, you're user2, and you've replied, you cannot post again until 3, 4 and one have replied. And so on.
Never pester the other RPers if they are not replying, by PM or in the thread. You may PM them at least three times at max, but they must have a large distance between each one, and if a mod, or admin are PMed about you pestering them more than three times, or in a short distance between each PM, then you will be warned. Continuing the action will result in a small disabling.
If you have any questions, please post them below.
