Stories & Fanfics[/u][/size]
1- Run a spell check.
We know that a lot of the authors don't have English as their native language, a spell-check is necessary to keep the story readable exactly for that reason. Open your story in Word, hit F7. There is no excuse for a story with spelling errors in it.
2- Use proper punctuation. Please pay attention to your punctuation as it is a criteria for a good and readable story.
3- If you post a boyxboy/girlxgirl story, please post it in the Slash/femslash subboards. That way those members that choose not to read these types of fics can make informed choices. And those who do read them can find them easily! This goes for crossovers, if you have a crossover story, please post it in the crossover subboards. And if you have anything that wouldn't be 15- or you suspect it wont be, please post it in the 16+ subboards. With the respective rating in the title for each subboard(crossover/16+/slash/femslash), for example, if it's in the 16+ subboard, have a (16+), (M), (AO) or (R) in the title. But if it's in Crossovers or Slash/femslash, make sure the right rating is in the title too, (IE, E, E+, or T), but if you have anything, crossover, slash/femslash or not, that would be rated 16+, M, AO, or R, it GOES in the 16+ subboards.
4- Plagiarism is the devil's work. We should all know what that means, DON'T STEAL! We will notice and you will be in trouble. Any member caught plagiarizing will be banned, and the story subsequently locked. If you have taken an idea from someone else’s story, please give credit to the author for inspiration - whether it be published or internet written.
5- Spam should be kept to a minimum. Spam within reason will most likely be ignored, however ongoing comments not related to stories will receive a warning, if it continues, the story will be locked without notice.
6- If you're going to criticize, please make it constructive criticism. Insulting or belittling of other people's work will not be tolerated. Please be courteous and polite.
7- When posting a story, please post it in the appropriate board/sub-board. Subboards, consist of Crossovers, 16+ and Slash/femslash in Ouran roleplays and Other roleplays. And 16+ and Slash/femslash in original.
8. When posting a story, please use the following format:
Title: Story/fanfic title
Rating: Story/fanfic rating
Summary: Story discription (Known as basic plot in roleplaying format)
Discussion thread: the link to the discussion thread for the story
Main characters: main characters included
Genres: story/fanfic genres
Minimum/Maximum chapters: How many chapters minimum the stories going to have, and how many maximum if you know. (Can be added once story is finished)
Story index:
Chapter One-Page One
Chapter Two-Page One
Chapter Three-Page Two
Etc...
Story text.
Make your first post of the story solely for the information as stated above. Doing this leaves enough room (in other words character space) to do a full chapter index. This is not mandatory but helpful to make sure you don’t run out of space for the index.

Oh, how she was excited; because, whether she's rich or not, it's not many times that schools accept the trouble making girl. And, strangely, she had a feeling that this would be the best school year yet. She couldn't wait. . .
10- Complete and up to date Chapter Index.
Your chapter index must be up to date. There is no reason it should not be updated each time you post a new chapter.
